Star Wars Clone Wars Season 1 DVD

Since that moment fans have been obsessed with what the clone wars were. This new TV series takes place immediately after the events of Star Wars-Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The series follows Obi-Wan Kenobi and his apprentice Anakin Skywalker and introduces us to some new characters such as Ahsoka Tano a girl Jedi knight as well as characters we already know.

Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Battles

The Visual Guide – Ultimate Battles offers the Clone Wars fan a great look at images of the significant battles in Seasons I and II. This book is a follow-up to The Clone Wars: The Visual Guide. As is true with Mr. Fry’s previous book, Ultimate Battles is loaded with shots from the series and explanations of the action. All of the main battles are shown, and significant sections of the book cover weapons, troops, and key characters.

As you would expect, the book is heavily visual, and the illustrations are outstanding. You can ponder at length many of the scenes that you have watched on the TV show. The presentation of the material in the book is excellent, and the quality is first-rate.

As an avid collector, I’m constantly looking for new interesting items, so I’d like to share some of my latest discoveries with you.

    Star Wars Clone Wars Vehicles!

Since the Clone Wars TV series is quite popular among the fans, so are the related Clone Wars toys. So what can we expect in near future?

First of all, there are some really cool new 3 3/4-inch scale vehicle packs (wave 6) scheduled to be released before the end of 2009. They include some really nice pieces like General Grievous Starfighter, AAT Trade Federation Tank, Obi-Wan’s Delta 2 Starfighter, Darth Vader’s TIE Fighter and others. If you buy them as gifts for your children, they will sure like the special action features, like firing rockets etc.

Later on, in January 2010, there should be a new release of Deluxe 3 3/4-inch scale Star Wars figurines sets (action figure + matching vehicle). You can look forward to Anakin Skywalker Desert Sport Skiff, Clone Commander Cody with BARC Speeder and my favorite Clone Trooper Scout with AT-RT Vehicle, to name just a few.

    New LEGO Star Wars Toys

The LEGO construction sets are definitely among the most popular toys so every new release is eagerly awaited by the movie fans and especially by their children. The most recent additions include LEGO 8036 Separatists Shuttle (with 5 really cool mini figures), LEGO 8038 Endor Battle Playset (with opening bunker, walking AT-ST, 12 figures, and more) and LEGO Clone Walker and Assassin Droid Set including bonus figures in each box.

Of course, there are many companies constantly releasing new StarWars figures and toys, so I just picked the ones I find most interesting at the moment. I’m also looking on other types of Star wars merchandise, like lightsabers, blasters, helmets and other replicas, but I think these specific items deserve a separate article, which will hopefully be published very soon.

Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Blaster

Get ready for battle with your own customized blaster! Will you take on the enemy with a pistol? Will you become a clone trooper and blast battle droids with your rifle? The choice is yours. Assemble the parts in different ways to create different configurations. Pull the trigger and watch the barrel light up! The weapon sounds change with each new attachment! Build your own blaster and get fired up for action and adventure!

The Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Blaster is made up of seven components – a basic pistol (the core component), magazine, butt stock (stamped with the Republic crest), folding stock, scope (sadly nothing more than a tube), barrel and additional central chamber. Through a neat system of contacts these bits and pieces can be fitted together to create an advanced version of the basic pistol, the long (we’re talking well over 2 feet once assembled) clone rifle seen in the films or something resembling the rifle wielded by clones and stormtroopers alike in the movies.

Adding components produces sound effects, and then the combination used gives a different firing speed and sound, all taken from the movies. It’s eschewed the crystals route of the lightsabers; probably a good thing, as those were small and easily lost, negating certain sound and light functions on those toys. Star of the show is the central chamber, which when added gives off a neat blue pulse up and down the barrel when fired. That it looks and sounds awesome is undeniable, and it feels pretty hefty once assembled; I’d be interested to see what smaller hands and arms make of the full 2′+ assembly.

Star Wars toys never seem to become less popular and this Star Wars Clone Wars Ultimate Blaster three in one blaster gun is another great addition to the range. It is a build-your-own kit style set where you have lots of bits and pieces to fit together to make either a pistol, short rifle or long rifle.
